FInally, a basic farsi app that is fun! – Basic Farsi فارسی ابتدایی Review

This app is definitely one of the better persian apps out there. It is very good for learning basic words and numbers. The alphabet game is great since it shows you the initial, medial, and terminal forms of the characters. You would need a basic understanding of the alphabet, otherwise you will learn it through trial and error. Using this app as a supplement to a course is a great way to stay proficient. It does need some updates to add more words, but beyond that, it is perfect. I would also purchase an intermediate and advanced platform if they were to become available. Another nice addition would be either a phonetic english pronunciation of the words or an option to listen to the word spoken by a native speaker. Bottom line, if you are learning Farsi, this is a must have app.
