Used to love it – Aqua Map - Mobile Chartplotter Review

Up until the most recent update (as of 5/25/18) I loved this app. The map expand thing seems pretty worthless to me as it makes no sense to stretch out and distort the edges of the map. I’ve always wished i could just turn that off. The current version with the most recent iOS version is worthless. I’m using it on a 2017 iPad. It crashes and won’t restart without uninstalling it does redownloading which is very inconvenient while underway. All of the charts have to be downloaded again as well. I emailed their support account weeks ago when it first happened and never heard back from them. The chart prices have also gone up significantly since I first started using it, so it’s not as strong of a recommendation to others anymore either. The other comment about the Bahamas’ charts is also accurate, the coverage that this app provides for that region is worthless at this stage.
