The best news app for mobile devices...ever – Reuters TV: Video News Review

I think this is the first time I’ve ever given anything, much less an app, five stars. But this app (along with the Apple TV version) deserves it. The app dynamically generates a program of high-quality news from a world-wide staff of professional journalists. You select the length and it intelligently packages up a playlist of current news. It’s ad-supported but this app is what every ad-supported app should be. Login is unnecessary and the ads are businesspeople-focused. You might dislike the Fortune 50 who advertise here but it’s not intrusive. Spend 15 minutes of your workout or 30 minutes on the large screen and you’ll be far better informed than any social media site can hope to do.
