Pretty great, but not without it’s flaws – Tales of the Rays Review

While not as good as a mainline Tales game, this does boast some great character interactions. The combat is fun too, albeit pretty limited, there aren’t even any items to use. Unfortunately, the environments are really repetitive and bland, which is a shame. The quest structure is also exactly the same every time, which can mundane really quick. Overall a great effort, which is closing due to zero advertising. I didn’t find out about this game until well into it’s lifespan, even as a Tales fan. Hopefully Bandai Namco will learn from this and will advertise their upcoming games better, both retail and mobile.
