Unable to update – WPS Office Review

I've had and used WPS Office for a number of years on my iPad 3 and found it worked great. Sometime ago when there was an update, Apple said it was no longer supported. This was also the case for the iPad mini 4 I had gotten so I bought MO 365. It's getting close to renewal time for the 365 and I found that WPS was now supported. Therefore tried to update it on the 3, but it wouldn't do it. The app description states it requires iOS 9. It has 9.3, but then only newer iPads are listed as compatible. This doesn't make sense to me and I still use the 3 at times, especially when I want a larger screen like when doing word processing with a small font. I'd give it 5 stars otherwise.
