Good app, material could use improvement – Mango Languages: Learning Review

This app works well and I really appreciate being able to click on the words and hear them repeated with a pop up of the phonetic spelling. I also like the ability to record my own voice and compare it. Some minor issues: 1) In the German lesson, it is very confusing distinguishing between you (formal) and you (informal). There is only one version of “you” in English, so this needs to be clarified in the lesson. Often it asks a question in English and I guess the formal version of “you” and it marks it wrong. 2) It would be useful to have a practice lesson that is just conjugating verbs. 3) It would be useful to have a vocabulary review with each lesson. 4) It would be useful to have the native speaker say something and have to guess what it means in English without hearing it in English first. Overall a very nice interface. Clear and easy to navigate.
