What doesn’t this do? – WPS Office Review

There’s a good reason this is a five star app. The productivity tools are very good. I’ve even recommended the windows versions. But what amazes me about this app is what else it does. It handles PDF files, zip files (including password protected zip files) and has excellent cloud services. I’m probably missing some that I just haven’t found yet. I actually use WPS Office to browse my Google Drive. The iOS version of Google Drive does have a built-in viewer but I can’t understand why they have left out search capability. No matter, because I can set WPS office to browse Google drive every time I open the app. Not only can I edit files, but I can search the contents. WPS office smartly opens a cloud doc in read mode. You then just have to tap and icon to turn it into edit mode. Some of the more advanced tools required a subscription. Who knew that I might have a need for “long picture” conversion? I tend to use the Microsoft iOS office apps, if only because I’m familiar with them. If you have the free version, you can open password protected files but you cannot create one. WPS office can help you there. Anyway it’s like the Swiss Army knife of Office productivity apps. Definitely one of my favorite apps to use it on both my iPad and iPhone.
