Bad leadership – Jamaa Amino for Animal Jam Review

If I could give no stars, I would. The app in particular is lovely, and there are many features that make it easy to navigate and use. The staff, on the other hand, is absolutely terrible. Trying to talk to them is like talking to a brick wall, people get banned left and right. It’s an utter dictatorship. The users themselves don’t get to decide how the app should run, or who should become leader or curator. On another Animal Jam related website (the Animal Jam wiki), everyone gets to decide who should be promoted to a staff member and the people themselves can vote for people to become staff members through a request for rights. Every so often there are voted and discussions on how everything should be organized and if a new rule should be passed. Unfortunately, on the Animal Jam Amino, everything is decided by the staff, the users have no say what so ever on if new rules should be passed. The AJA staff are also extremely bias on disabling or featuring posts. When I got banned, I had no warning whatsoever or a strike. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth with Amino in general.
