Not free to play... – Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf Review

.... unless you enjoy getting torn to pieces in cardboard armor and pop gun weapons. Hell you even have to purchase the healer in a separate package, which when on levels with 15-20 enemies is arguably necessary. Everything is packaged in stupid little bundles that force you to buy a bunch of crap you don’t need just to get the individual things that make this game functional. And, on top of that, the mechanics are garbage. Sprinting seven steps costs the same as turning 90*, so all an enemy needs to do is step to your side to throw a major wrench in your strategy and drag out all your turns. Also you randomly draw weapons and move cards, so a reasonable deck balance could still leave you with all movement or all weapon cards and make it impossible to win regardless of strategy. This would be better if there were only ten or so cards to cycle through, but the minimum deck size is 30, because otherwise how would they gouge you for card packs? In short, DO NOT GET THIS GAME. You will either be frustrated or broke by the time you finish. Go get deathwatch, an actual game that has better mechanics is better designed and doesn’t play like a total rip off if you don’t drop any additional money into it.
