Wrong answer – Garden Answers Plant Id Review

I have a plant growing in my yard with some sort of a flower getting ready to bloom. I wasn’t sure what kind of a plant but sort of looks like a thistle. So I asked the horticulturist & it came back as grass. I do know it’s not grass. So I’m thinking maybe my pictures were not clear enough to determine what the plant may be.
