Good one, but... – Woody Extreme Block Puzzle Review

I love this puzzle. I wish there were instructions that told you how to earn points that help prolong the game. I have been guessing for two months now and have not figured it out, except that if you place a block in such a way that it completes both a horizontal and vertical row, you get points. Why make us guess? Tell us, please.
