Almost exactly what I wanted! – Freedom - Reduce Distractions Review

It looks like I picked the right time to look for an app like this, since it looks like they just added the Safari content blocker implementation in version 3.0, which is exactly what I wanted for scheduled blocking of websites. Update 2: It’s a little clunky that it has to display a notification to reopen the app when iOS stops it from running in the background, but that doesn’t happen very often and still mostly keeps me honest in following the schedule. I assume it would be poor performance for the content blocker itself to have to keep checking the time and schedule for each request, if possible at all, so it relies on the app running in the background to do this and maybe even get triggered by iOS at scheduled times.
