Zero stars for freedom and iTunes Store – Freedom - Reduce Distractions Review

I received a coupon code for the freedom subscription for 40% off. Tried to use it on the App Store but I accidentally touched the button that enrolled me for the yearly subscription (and by the way there’s no way to use the code on the App Store, you have to go through he website). Well, with subscriptions on the App Store *there is no way to cancel your purchase.* you can only cancel the subscription, which takes into effect at the end of the current one. Soooo I just paid full price for a yearly subscription by accident and cannot cancel it for a while freaking year. I have contacted both freedom and iTunes spport and neither can help me somehow. Even with the freedom “60 day guarantee”. Super thumbs down for customer service all around. Don’t purchase subscriptions for anything on the App Store if you can help it!
