Pesky notifications – WKYT FirstAlert Weather Review

I used this app for years, I liked the notification for bad weather alerts but lately they have decided to send some kind of notification every day regardless of how stupid it it is. It will come on and say it raining 5 miles from my location, I don’t want or need to know that and for an alert to blast out when it’s unwarranted can be very annoying, plus tornadoes ripped my neighborhood apart a few years back an the alerts can be very scary to us. Expressed my concerns directly to station and they don’t care, turn off notifications they say. Told them it’s not much good if I do that. Also told them of the little boy who cried Wolfe!!
