Ads within KCCI app constantly pop up – KCCI 8 News - Des Moines Review

Here’s a news tip: This app is terrible. I should not be forced to watch ad videos literally every 5 seconds while reading an article. If I want to watch an ad video (and let’s be honest, who does?), I’ll click on it myself. Stop wasting my time and data. Look at your reviews for the app, and you will see that most people can’t stand the ad videos. You will lose subscribers. I will not be using the app again until this is fixed. In addition, whenever a breaking news notification pops up, there is no follow-up story on the app. There are several other news apps that work much better.
