April-7-20-2018 this update is much better – EchoLink Review

Well finally with this update is working again with the cellular network, still it will not login sometimes, but is a big improvement. When it not login if I turn off the phone and turn it back on, it seem like it does login again, and is not a phone problem because I already try 2 phones and it does the same. Anyway with this update I can use echolink again on the cellular network and my own proxy. Thanks ————————————— Fe-20-2018 As I said today’s update still have the same problems, will not login using cellular network, not even using my own proxy which I can login without any problems using a PC an iPad or and android tablet. iPhone only works using WiFi and whenever I’m lucky to find a relay server. Public proxy is trying to login but it never completed the logging. ——————————///////——————— Relay server question. Apdated 12/18/17 Well this problem with locking when is trying to login, is with all the iPhone models, I just got 2 new iPhones and still does the same thing, locking up when just starting the app and trying to login. It is almost useless trying to use it. Please guys I know you guys are not getting paid for this app, and are doing it like we all, just for the love of our hobby,but still is not working and nobody is acknowledging it. Could you please at least let us know if you are trying to fix this problem? Thanks ———————//—————— Since iPhone is having problems to connect lately, and there are not a lot of relays server, the question is: What about putting up on the echolink webpage a relay server to download, same as you have with the echolink proxy. I know not everybody will do it, but probably many will like to try it. Thanks Since the last update the echolink will not Login anymore. Direct, relay only when find a relay server, only some public proxy’s and get stuck trying, even my own proxy it will not login, the problem is not my proxy, because I can use it wit my laptop using my WiFi or my iPhone hotspot using the cellular network, but the echolink app it doesn’t work. Rubens / KA6VHA PD: the star rate is a 5 plus for the PC version, but only a 1 for the iPhone version because of the problems to connect to the server, public proxy or personal proxy to login. Please guys do something about it, it used to be a great app. I stopped by and Apple store today and talked about the problem with echolink, and they confirmed that the app has a glitch and need to be updated to work with all the iPhones.
