Tale of two apps! – Secret Calculator Vault - hide pictures and videos Review

This is a tale of two apps. Katrina Akhlebinina is listed as maker of both “Safe Lock” and “Secret calculator vault.” Both apps have virtually the same size, function, and ..... wait for it... REVIEWS (and the reviews are ‘word for word’ identical!). Each app lists over 1000 reviews so it should have been easy for Katrina to use non-identical reviews for the App Store. Makes me think that Katrina is either too lazy to select different wired reviews, or she thinks that most of us are a little slow, or both. Actually, the only difference in her descriptions of the two apps is that “Safe Lock” has “GIF support” and is “iPhone X ready” which she probably uses to justify the additional cost for Safe lock. Katrina is not the first to include wired app reviews nor will she be the last. But here’s the kicker — both apps “appear” to have good features, although I cannot attest to their performance. Unfortunately, it’s obvious the app maker has no business ethics— it’s all about the money! When I see wired and duplicative reviews, I have absolutely no trust in the seller nor the product, and I will not support them. Hence, my review reflects that sentiment. Likewise, Apple is not completely guilt free here. Apple could, and should, do a much better job at policing all of the App Store and ensure that quality takes precedence over quantity.
