Transferring information – Notes Writer+ Review

I recently upgraded my account from the free app to the paid app But none of my files have transfered from the free to the upgraded? In fact when I “upgraded” it just downloaded a new app, and the original free version was not actually UPGRADED. So now I just have 2 noteswriter apps on my ipad. The free trial one with all my data and the paid one is empty. If I try to add new documents to the free app it just says to upgrade which I JUST DID! This is so frustrating. How can I have all my information transferred over? Thank you!
