Mother-daughter theme is stifling and banal – Monument Valley 2 Review

Very heavy handed narrative espousing the virtues of motherhood and the beautiful wonderful gift of being the daughter of a beautiful wonderful mother. The gameplay suffers and is ultimately stifled under the heavy burden of being the vehicle for delivering this outmoded and anachronistic narrative. The predecessor to this game rocked. This abortion is a monument to ego and matronizing outmoded narratives. Shame.
