Game is fun but unbalanced – Mabinogi Duel Review

This game has hundreds of unique cards and your freedom to choose any kind of deck and heroes are almost endless. Art is amazing and the game is quick to pick up. However when playing ranked matches against other players there are some cards that are just way too overpowered. A prime example would be a popular card called “card appraisal”. The card itself is easy to obtain but it is terribly broken. The card basically makes it so if your opponent has a card that is two stars or lower it just straight up sends it to the graveyard. The card has good damage and health so people stack this card in their decks and get to high ranks by using just this strategy. There are many cards like this that just straight up had no counterplay. But if you’re not looking to play competitively then the PVE storyline and offline arenas are a fun addition to the game.
