It's good but matchmaking needs fixing – Chezz: Play Fast Chess Review

I keep bouncing from 1850-1950 rank because it matches me with people around 800-1000. So I'm literally getting 1 point up on my rank for winning and will win 15 straight against these new players but then I'll make 1 mistake down the line and lose my king stupidly and lose 60 points!!! Match me with people of my skill please. It's no fun winning 15 straight with no challenge. I'd rather have a 50% win rate and have good quality games. Also when both players are down to there kings or there is no possible way for either poker to win there is no way to claim a draw. So it's just 2 players seeing who can wait out the longest. Which is also stupid because I either have to wait out for 1 point or leave and lose a ton. Another thing is that I'm almost certain that ranking pairs me up with computers because they always seem to drag out there king and move at the same tempo. When I go against a good opponent he leaves him on the back row. Another thing is that the crowns players are using don't often show. I see a lot of normal crown opponents moving as if they had the knight crown. There's a bug I see every now and then when the game doesn't register a piece is no longer on a certain square and it won't allow me to move to or through said square. Fix these bugs and you will have a very fun and original app that will surely become popular. This game has real potential as an RTS version of chess. It's very strategic and you have to move fast but at the same time keep calm and don't get ahead of yourself. 1 year later review date 3/14 2018: I ended up quitting because of the matchmaking after 2 weeks of playing. Decided to down load the app today a year later. to see if they fixed matchmaking. I had 1 game with an actual grandmaster that ended up being a 5 minute game!! We were locked in position we were both trying to get a combo set up. Both making sure that even if the opponent retreats a piece you were trying to attack you would still be ok. I wish I could have challenged him again because it was that good of a game. The rest of the games? All computers. How do I know? The biggest reason is that after exactly 10 seconds if the game doesn’t find a real player it gives you a computer. And I mean EXACTLY 10 seconds on the dot. So that should be a good place to start if the devs don’t have a clue what to look for. All move at the same exact tempo. All move their king towards middle when under no threat. All have the same moves if you don’t move at start. If you put in a good matchmaking I would pay for this app and it would be one of my favorite games. But for now it’s getting deleted again.
