Has great potential! – World Hockey Manager 2024 Review

I really like the concept of this game, but I agree there needs to be some more development. It would be great if there was a little more guidance. When mine loads up, there a little tips, but mine loads so fast I don’t even have time to read them. That seems to be the only time you can get any kind of advice. I will play a team ranked way lower then me and get spanked by them...I’m not sure why either. In tournament games, I wish I had a little time to be able to look at the other teams roster and stuff so I could adjust my lines and strategy for that team. I also don’t like that I can’t adjust my strategy mid game. Maybe there are ways to do this, and I just haven’t figured it out...but again, a guide or FAQ section would be great. There are also stats that I don’t get what they mean, and goalies seem to not have stats. I have even searched around online for answers and didn’t really find much that was helpful to me. I find the game to be a little buggy as well. Doesn’t load right and glitches regularly. Are my teams stats all supposed to reset to zero if I haven’t advanced to another league or anything? Hard to keep track of player performance when it only seems to keep track of stats for like 3 games and then resets to zero. How does a team with a zero ranking bet me by 5 goals (I am 34 right now). I’m guessing this is some type of bug? I agree coins are hard to come by. I have dropped some cash on this game, but I feel like it’s going to get to the point where I get stuck and will have to drop more money then I’m willing...then I would probably just stop playing. Paying $5 for 65 coins kinda seems like a rip to me when it takes coins to do a lot of things and you don’t earn coin easily. I will for sure keep playing this game for a bit, and hope to see some big updates soon, otherwise I’m pretty sure I will lose interest. I can’t justify spending a bunch of money on a game, and I felt pretty ripped off by how little I could do with coins I did buy. I also want to feel like I can actually have an impact on the outcome of a game...at this point I feel like wins and loses are pretty random. I for sure don’t want to pay for improvements if it doesn’t feel like it they matter.
