Excellent money trivia – PROVEIT - Real Money Games Review

I’m enjoying PROVEIT far better than similar offerings from other apps like those affiliated with Skillz Gaming. The main difference is PROVEIT has genuine random matchmaking and takes a smaller rake fee. Skillz, a similar competitor service, matches players not randomly, but based on similar skill levels. This sounds fair, but it actually is awful—because any game with a rake (the cut taken by the company running the game) will require you to win more than 50% of the time to break even. So, Skillz games, by matching you exclusively with players of similar skill level, drives everyone towards a 50% win rate, which means slowly grinding down your cash to 0, while they take it all in rake. No one can win often enough to actually accumulate winnings! Games like these have an incentive to do this, because when people can consistently win, they’ll withdraw their accumulated winnings. On the other hand, if everyone *gradually* works their way down to zero, the game-runners keep EVERYTHING. It’s predatory and dishonest, the way companies like Skillz operate. It takes the “skill” entirely out of the question—no matter how good you are compared to 99% of players, you’ll still lose all your money eventually. However, PROVEIT uses random matchmaking, meaning as long as you’re actually better than most players, you can win consistently. Meaning it’s truly a game of skill, in which players who are better at the game win accordingly, and can make a profit. When I tried paid trivia games in the past under the Skillz umbrella, all my deposits got eaten away by rake fees until I hit zero, despite my being better than most players. Playing PROVEIT, I’ve been able to turn $10 into $50 in just one day, thanks to fair, random matchmaking allowing people who are skilled the chance to win.
