On the other hand, if everyone *gradually* works their way down to zero, the game-runners keep EVERYTHING. It’s predatory and dishonest, the way companies like Skillz operate. It takes the “skill” entirely out of the question—no matter how good you are compared to 99% of players, you’ll still lose all your money eventually. However, PROVEIT uses random matchmaking, meaning as long as you’re actually better than most players, you can win consistently. Meaning it’s truly a game of skill, in which players who are better at the game win accordingly, and can make a profit. When I tried paid trivia games in the past under the Skillz umbrella, all my deposits got eaten away by rake fees until I hit zero, despite my being better than most players. Playing PROVEIT, I’ve been able to turn $10 into $50 in just one day, thanks to fair, random matchmaking allowing people who are skilled the chance to win.
