Out of date dictionary. – Nautical Terms - Sailing, Boating & Marine Glossary Review

Nearly useless as a reference because so many terms and definitions are obsolete and have little relevance to modern usage. For example, the term "spars" is defined in this app as "pieces of trees as they are cut in the wood." That definition might help a 19th century sailor, but in the 21st century, spars are the mast and boom of a sailboat and are more likely to be made of aluminum.
