Works Inconsistently - Leaf AND Spring – Bellabeat Wellness Coach Review

I had a Leaf for a while after it first came out and it was unfortunately left on a pair of pants and put through the wash, leaving it unusable. I found that the data was inconsistent and the ability to update to the app was cumbersome. Yet, I loved the idea as well as the look and feel of the tracker itself, so I’ve been interested in other offerings from the company. Because I now have an Apple Watch, replacing the leaf seems unnecessary since a few $3 apps replace nearly all the functions of the leaf and seem not only more accurate, but more user friendly as well. I’m still a huge fan of women run and women-product focused companies, so I kept an eye out for other products I would be interested in. I’m an expat living in a country where water is not drinkable from the tap and OBSESSED with hydration, and currently not drinking enough water, so when I saw Spring, I had to have one. I ordered one on a recent trip back to the states. Since getting it, I’ve had a lot of issues with it. It nearly always syncs correctly but almost never actually downloads any data, so no matter how much I drink, I have to add it manually. I’ve tried all the suggested fixes including turning off my Apple Watch when I sync (annoying) due to it requiring absolutely no other Bluetooth connections being active, restarting WiFi, the phone, etc. It’s basically an $89 water-bottle with no function other than storing water, which is outrageous. Bellabeat makes beautiful products, but they simply do not function as advertised. I love Bellabeat and the message the company sends with its women-focused products, but after two faulty products, I’m honestly highly disappointed.
