What's with the update? – Moodtrack Social Diary Review

I have been using this app for 3 months. It's easy to use and helps me keep track of my moods. BUT I don't understand the point of the recent update. Why would you want to search for people by user name? You can already follow people and see who has responded to you via the inbox. Many of us who use this app are fragile and don't need a creepy stalker element added.
