App no longer connects with any of my iOS devices – The Roku App (Official) Review

I loved this app for the first five minutes it worked. Now it always says it can’t find the TCL Roku TV that is only about 8 months old. I tried multiple phones. I tried using only 5gHz then back to 2.4gHz. I’ve tried the shutdown of the modem, router, and tv etc etc etc. I’m pretty techie but this has beat me. It must be the TV since I’ve tried old iPhones and new iPads as well. I really wanted the remote sound feature the most. Oh well. The TV is nice but this lack of functionality has been disappointing- have to go back to my Apple TV with Bluetooth sound support.
