Julian Serrano - Aria – OpenTable Review

We made reservations through Open Table on Valentine’s Day when we flew in from a HAWAII. Reservations were for 8:30 pm, but we showed up at 8:05pm. There was some kind of dancing entertainment going on at the restaurant entrance, with a whole bunch of people standing around. We thought the were just there to watch the show. We found out they were waiting to be called for reservations, so we went up to the hostesses (and looked like a manager) to tell them we had reservations at 8:30pm (in about 20 minutes). They really looked flustered and said we were not on the list they were holding (double checked). The hostess said she was going to check the computer again, so we told them we would wait on some benches across the way. She said she’d come and get us. At 8:30 pm we walked up and asked if they found our reservations. The girl said no reservations, and the crowd was getting ansy! The staff looked really flustered, so we just left. I called Jaleo (Jose Andres) in the Cosmopolitan and they took us right at 9:15pm. We walked over and got there at five to nine, and they promptly took us in. The next day we get a text from Open table saying we never showed at Julien Serrano! Added insult to injury.
