Charges Freelancers $10-$20 every time you view their quote. – Thumbtack: Home Service Pros Review

I have been freelancing on thumbtack since 2016, and there’s aspects of its service that as consumers you need to know. The way thumbtack makes money is by requiring freelancers to pay a fee between $10-$20 every time you view a quote. While it can be easy to get annoyed and the fees some freelancers charge, services like this put that into perspective. The app interface makes it so simple to view our quotes causing us to lose money. I have personally stopped using the service as both a freelancer, and client for this reason. Pleas understand that every time you view a quote you are taking that freelancers money, and they will never see it again. Overtime this adds up, I’d have more luck making money at the blackjack table than the ridiculous odds this company gives me.
