Very disappointed – Resize for Story - No Crop Review

Can’t seem to resize video by choice. It just locks the video to a grid, often making it smaller than necessary. I got this to deal with the iPhone X video stretching problem... and now I have giant black bars. Why can’t an app called ReSize actually allow me to resize??
