As far as I can tell, this app does nothing – Remote for Vizio TVs Review

No way to set it up. It doesn’t find my NEW Vizio tv. The primary function appears to be to show me irrelevant ads (which is happens when I click on the “Help” button) and take up space on my iPad Pro. Don’t waste your time downloading.
