Impossible to use without upgrading – Notes Writer - Legacy Version Review

I thought I would at least be able to open a new document and try out the app features, but as soon as I hit + for a new document I was told I had already reached the limit of free documents and would have to upgrade. So, in other words, the limit of free documents is ZERO. I wasted 30 minutes trying to play with it but at least I am not out of pocket.
