Ruined by progression – Dice Soccer City Review

I liked the game so much I dropped ten bucks on an in-game purchase of a character. Now I’m in the third league and can’t win a game to save my life. I start playing reruns of the second league and loose far more than I win (2-5) using upgraded versions of the same characters I originally beat the second league with. What’s with the sudden difficulty spike?
