2 problems – Spirit Animals Review

Great game...but issues. When I fight bosses my spirt animal Chip the red wolf holds the beast back while I shoot with arrows so I don’t get hurt. Then all of a sudden Chip disappears when I use a power up, so the beast gets me and I run. After I kill the beast Chip comes back. Why is this happening? Then, what if I want to play as a guest on a second account with a different spirt animal? I can’t. Please make this possible for me cause is seems like other players can. Thank you.
