Why why why do I need to have a constant internet connection for this? – Alphabear: Word Puzzle Game Review

Don’t get me wrong, I love this game - it’s super fun, but the online offline thing drives me up the wall. It is fine that you need to be online for the game to load - I get it, it’s not efficient to store all the game data on your phone, BUT when you start a round of the game the entire round should load to your phone so that if you have a tiny blip in your connection during play it doesn’t cause you to get suddenly kicked out of your game in the middle of the round while you are carefully planing your next move. This is especially frustrating in the timed mode, where losing your train of thought costs valuable seconds. Maybe my connection is weak in the first place because of where I live, but it happens to me every 5 or 10 minutes - very frustrating.
