Solid 3 Star Eipix Viking Adventure – Saga of Nine Worlds: Gathering Review

Decent enough time waster (based upon the free trial) but the story didn’t pull me in enough to buy the game. The games in the demo were very easy (not sure if they get more challenging later on) and as with all of Eipix HOGs, you have give a bit of a delay after selecting an item, or your touch doesn’t register. You get the typical Eipix goodies with the custom mode of play, transportable map, collectible stone tablet fragments in each scene, and morphing objects. Play if you’re bored but it was a pass for me. Upcoming Games: (# stars is average review on BigFishGames.com for the PC or Mac version, date is the day the game was released via Big Fish - usually for PC or Mac) Mystery Tales: House of Others (3.9 stars, Domini Games, June ‘17) Hidden Expedition: Pearl of Discord (3.8 stars, Eipix, April ‘17) Subliminal Realms: Call of Atis (4.1 stars, Boolat, Feb. ‘17) - finally another game from Boolat! Nevertales: Forgotten Pages (3.9 stars, Mad Head, Jun. ‘17) Hit-Point Games: Adera (Crisp computer-generated graphics, ability to pan 360deg in some scenes, 4 chapters so far but only first chapter is free so give it a try when it releases. I’m intrigued by the first chapter, good voice-acting; it’s mostly a point-and-click adventure but there are some HOGs and collectibles) Artifex Mundi: January 25 Noir Chronicles: City of Crime (Steam/mobile) February Demon Hunter 4: Riddles of Light (Steam/mobile) March Chronicles of Magic: Divided Kingdoms (Steam/mobile)
