Stellar Game - Glaring Flaw(s) – Breakneck Review

This game is an F-Zero fan’s dream. High speeds, combined with stylish speeders and a killer soundtrack, makes for quite possibly the best endless-runner game I’ve ever played. There is an issue, though, primarily with hit detection. Quite a few times I’ve been racing through the world when I stumble upon a log(?) that immediately destroys my vehicle. I’m another instance, I turning to the right, when all of a sudden my speeder exploded despite not hitting the wall. The other outright issue is the “Watch Video to Continue” option. Every time I’ve tried it, it always returns me to the game with a blank screen or my ship always leaning to the left, making boosting forward impossible. Nonetheless, the game’s a great time waster. If anyone’s got time to spare, a quick match of Breakneck is always exhilarating.
