A flashcard app which is said to assist language learning – LINGORILLA Learn LANGUAGES Review

Pros: Acceptable interface design Cons: Errors in clicking some items Details: The idea of this app is language learning. The design of the flashcards is not that appealing. Users have to swipe one by one to view the cards. There is no menu or content page to quickly navigate the cards. Only two packs with around 30 nouns are shown. And they are all ‘animals’. A critical error is found when clicking a non-purchased pack, the app seems to be ‘loading’ but actually it freezes. No other wats but terminate the app in order to get out the ‘freeze’. The error should be easy to be spotted but the app clearly fails in passing through a quality assurance process. The developer’s website cannot be visited, after the experience of the error which a user may want to feedback. No further comment on it. Overall, the programming, design and concept give users not s big confidence. We hope it can be improved, at least going through a simple quality test before submitting to the app store.
