Very useful – BugMe! Stickies Review

ADDENDUM (JAN 2018). Still a great app (I had it on my Palm Pilot in the late 1990s, and is still around and working!) but I am not sure of that the developer is continuing to support it. The “Save to Home Screen” option no longer works. ****************** This little app is turning out to be very handy! I can use it to write or type a note, or import one that has been saved to photos, and then I can make an alarm or for it or send it to my home screen. This makes my home screen useful as a sticky board for all the notes whose content needs my immediate attention. The only thing that the note can't do is be saved to Dropbox or exported to another app (hence the four out of five stars), but even here there is a workaround. Use mail or airdrop to send your note to yourself, open the note (if you have used mail) on your second device and save it to photos, and then import the photo into the Bug Me App (on your second device), and there you have it! Once the note is on your second device, you can save it to your home screen there as well. This little app really helps me not to forget to do the little things that are important but can easily be overlooked in the busyness of things. Did you fill up the car with gasoline and want to remember to write down the expenditure? Did you have a snack on the run and want to record it in your Weight Watchers journal? Do you need to buy toilet paper because you are down to the last few rolls? Do you need a reminder to call your Mom? This app really helps because of the alarms and also because the home-screen function makes sure that what you have to do is in plain sight. I have used it for years and have not found any glitches or difficulties.
