They ruined the app. No night mode – News360: Personalized News Review

Since the last update, all background colors when browsing stories in now bright white, which causes severe eye strain at night (the only time I use this app). They should at least offer a night mode, but they don’t. They’re dark background color was the only reason I used this app, as few do. Now I’ll never use it again. Sad that poor design decisions can ruin an otherwise perfectly useful app.
