What’s up with the $300 subscription? – Cinemagraph Pro Review

The app is quite basic in some areas. Actually never mind. I’m no stranger to paying higher prices for certain things then you normally see on the AppStore. Working with DAWs (Auria, Cubasis etc) on iOS is amazing today, because the apps are great, plugins/instruments are desktop quality, both small devs and large companies get along really well (they actually communicate with each other *GASP!*). Look at that part of the AppStore, how are they able to feed their kids without subscription plans for their apps? Ok, I really don’t know as I’m not a dev (but they don’t seem to suffer). I do know the subscription route just killed a big player on the desktop, Cakewalk. They’ve been around since at least the early 90s making DAWs and instruments. Trying to make a living of one single app on the AppStore by using a subscription model...I dunno...Will be interesting to see how long it’ll work. Why am I giving one star though? Coz this ain’t no $300 app (yet).
