Solidly Good Game BUT Short – Mystery of Ancients: Forgotten Review

Overall, I would recommend this game if you can get it on sale. I would have given this game a higher number of stars because, as I find with most games by Big Fish, the art was beautiful, the storyline was pretty good, and the puzzles were varied and fun. However, I felt that this particular game was rather short. I managed to complete the entire game and the bonus chapter in under four days, which means MAYBE 10-12 hours of gameplay. Had I paid the full price of $6.99, I would’ve been quite upset, but since I got it on sale for $2.99, I’m OK with it. Also, there were two puzzles that did not seem to work correctly for me. (I am playing on my iPhone 7 Plus, so I don’t know if that had anything to do with it.) I ended up having to skip those puzzles because I couldn’t get them to work. They were the same kind of puzzle where you had to match three or more of a kind, one was in the main game and one was in the bonus chapter, but both times nothing I did seemed to allow me to move pieces or do anything other then make the pieces flash.
