Pitiful – Art & Drawing Amino Review

Let me preface this review with saying that the app itself it technically set up well and works fine. However, the way it's run along with the community is a complete joke. If you have any respect for art whatsoever do not download this app. It is full of kids and teens who screw around and think they're some kind of amazing artist. Which is probably also due to how butthurt the community is about criticism. You could post a stick figure and everyone will just lie and say it's good art. Everyone is afraid to critique each other's art and gets offended the instant you say anything negative. Like seriously, no one on this app will ever improve because their art is garbage yet everyone still compliments it. Even if you do criticize it they'll just get defensive and either say you're the mean one or say some crap like "it's my style and I don't need to change it". I've also seen dozens of kids who post obvious pictures and say that it's a painting or drawing which is just sad and pitiful. Also, the mods of the app are all extremely biased and act like children. The featured page is chosen by the admins/mods and are not based off of popularity. In concept this should be fine, but the mods are childishly biased in the art that they choose to feature. If there is a mod that likes Spider-Man for example, he'll just feature any Spider-Man based art work, even if it's literally a stickfigure of Spider-Man. I guess the app is okay if you just want to talk with people or if you want people to lie to your face and compliment your art, but if you consider yourself an artist and truly want to improve along with other artist that take the field seriously then do not download this joke of an art community.
