Charged anyway... – Apps Gone Free & Daily Tips Review

I checked this app out and decided to try it. When I went to the App Store, I saw the price there, but ignored it because underneath it there was a notice that said “Currently free until Friday @ midnight. Regularly $3.99.” I downloaded it at 10:38 p.m. according to the screen shot I took of the page. Sure enough, today received a receipt in my email and I had been charged $3.99 + tax. I would never have paid that amount for an app that I only wanted to try out. I am very disappointed with that. Is the anything you can do about that situation?
