Such a waste of time and money – eharmony: dating & real love Review

We should be able to browse through profiles. Waiting around for some miraculous match to be added to my account every other day or so is not making it. Like others have said before me, at the beginning you are given about 10-20 matches a day. Then it drops down to 1-3 every other day or so. Eharmony keeps reminding me that i should expand the area. But If 60 miles radius in a metropolitan city is not enough, then I don’t know what is. Seattle is known for it’s dating scene, but i guess those people are smart enough to stay off the eharmony. My expectations for eharmony were much higher, with all the commercials on tv and reviews. I live in a large city, but i still do not get enough people to match with. Many profiles appear inactive, as they do not have any bio filled out or only one picture on their profile. I will not be recommending this dating platform to any of my friends. Definitely a waste of time, filling out my info and answering all the questions (yes, there is about 100+ Q’s when you sign up to match people to your personality and hobbies). I would say money wasted too, but i was ‘lucky’ enough to have the membership gifted, rather than paid for it myself. Which i would never do. I believe it was about $106 for 3 months. And i did not go on a single date in 2.5 months that i have had the account so far. My only requirements were that it should be White male, aged 27-37 years old, within 60miles of Seattle. I did not have one conversation longer than maybe 5 initial messages with anyone on Eharmony. I have gone on several dates through Bumble, Tinder and OkCupid, and some from Match.com, and many matches will be life long friends too. EHarmony brought zero prospects. If you want to pay for the service, then go on Match. You can browse and message anyone on it with the paid version. Eharmony only shows you the people that they think are compatible with you. You cannot browse the whole database. I do not recommend this app. Please save yourself the hundreds of dollars and try some better dating sites. FYI, i have been using the app on iPhone, but desktop version of this site is even more limited.
