Bring back in-app browsing – ShopStyle: Fashion & Cash Back Review

I love the app, but since a recent update whenever I click “buy now,” I’m automatically taken out of the ShopStyle app and it opens up a new window in the Safari app. Which means when I’m done browsing the color, sizing, and pricing options for the item, I then have to close the window in Safari, exit out of Safari, and then go back and reopen the ShopStyle app again. It used to be that when I clicked “buy now,” it would open up a window right there inside the ShopStyle app instead of taking me to Safari. But now it takes me out of ShopStyle and opens up a window in Safari. Sometimes when this happens the ShopStyle app actually resets when I open it back up, meaning I have to start all over when all I wanted to do was view size, color, and pricing options (since the price listed in the ShopStyle app often varies from the actual price depending on the size and color you choose). It’s an unnecessarily tedious process. I’ve also noticed that when I browse items from places like ASOS, ShopStyle still opens up an in-app window. But when browsing items from places like Amazon, Macy’s, Nordstrom (and its affiliates), etc., it doesn’t open up an in-app window and instead takes me to a new window in Safari. Why does ShopStyle use in-app browsing for some stores/brands but not for others? Can it please go back to just using in-app browsing for everything? It was much easier and simpler that way.
