Why not just use ads? – Yarn - Chat & Text Stories Review

Making money is great. I have no beef with them trying to make money. What I don’t understand is why this service is subscription based rather than just use ads? I’m guessing they make wayyy more money with subscriptions but if people rate 1 star and don’t pay anything is it really worth it? Better to just let people read whatever story they want but run an ad or something beforehand. They could also have the subscriptions to remove ads. The stories are intriguing so I think people would get hooked. But hey, it’s their model I guess. Skip it.
