Enough with the obnoxious ads – Modern Combat 5 Review

This game is actually a lot of fun and done well. But for the purpose of this review, I’m giving it one star simply because of the obnoxious and obtrusive ads. They commandeer your phone, sending you to the app store, sometimes, in the middle of a game. The last ad that caused me to sandbag this review was one where you had to interact in the ad, playing some game within the ad. It wouldn’t let me out until I did. So I said screw that, shut down the game and came here to offer my $0.02. Makers of MC5: Change your advertisement format. It’s killing the gaming experience and your advertisers won’t make that much money off of it because plenty of us find it a turn off.
