Nice game with too much added garbage – Word Streak With Friends Review

I like the game of Boggle. Zynga’s specialty is taking games that everyone already likes (Scrabble, Boggle), creating an app, and adding way too much social media, cheerleading, and self-promotion. At one point I paid for a “premium” version of either this game or Words with Friends, but I can’t tell which one based on the amount of junk that is included in both. The thing that annoys me the most (besides the constant nags for reviews, which I am obviously caving in on), is that Zynga refuses to distribute updates like the rest of the app developers do. They nag you to update in the app instead, and sometimes the name of the app has changed (attempts to bury poor reviews? I don’t know), and in a couple of cases I couldn’t locate the app by the name listed in the nag message. My wish list: skip the bells and whistles and let people play the game. Or let individuals pay you to opt out of them. Do your updates like everybody else.
