Can’t get account active – NordVPN: VPN Fast & Secure Review

I downloaded the app and tried to use the free trial by choosing one of the subscription options. The App Store signed me up for the subscription, but the app still said I had an inactive account and needed to subscribe. 5 repeats at subscribing and still showed as no active account. I have read elsewhere there are issues with in app subscriptions with NordVPN and subscribe through their web site, but there seems to be no 7 day trial option using that metho.
